Claims that reward efforts and hard work

The Aceto family farm has received numerous awards and certifications during its long activity.

Since the mid-fifties of the last century when Salvatore Aceto’s grandparents received awards, with cash certificates, for the excellence of agriculture carried out in the territory of the Amalfi Coast by the then Ministry of Agriculture.

In 1960 it was the turn of father Luigi whose company was awarded the Gold Medal to the International Agricultural Fair of Verona for having presented the best fruits among all the participants of that ‘year.

Many awards then arrived at the turn of the years 1970-1980 on the occasion of the numerous Sagre del Limone organized in the towns of the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula.

The Aceto family is credited with being the promoter and founder of the Consortium for the Protection of the Amalfi Coast PGI Lemon, that with commitment and dedication is dedicated to “promoting and disseminating the unique characteristics of this product of excellence among consumers, traders, professionals, media and tour operators“.

For his numerous activities in the field of limoniculture, his father Luigi Aceto has been awarded the titles of Official Knight of the Republic and Cavaliere del Lavoro.
